Wine tasting - Tenuta Castello di Morcote

We want to share the beauty of this place and the passion for our work, which is why we have created unique wine and food experiences for you, in the spirit of sustainability and respect for nature that we hold so dear.

We welcome you at the wine cellar from where a short wine tour through the vineyards surrounding Castello di Morcote starts.

Thanks to our informative map, you will discover the history of our company, as well as the cycle of work in the vineyard, carried out according to the principles of organic and agriculture. You will visit the interior of the castle and its park with a spectacular view of the lake (duration approx. 1 hour).

This is followed by a visit to the wine cellar, with its impressive barrique room for the ageing of the wines, and a wine tasting (approx. 1 hour).

The tasting of 6 wines is accompanied by a platter of local cold cuts, cheeses from the Ticino alpine pastures and home-made bread.

Wine tastings are held by reservation from Wednesday to Saturday, at 10.30 am and 4 pm, with a maximum of 12 participants, each couple or group has its own table. Please contact us for individual or group requests.

Duration: approx. 2 hours, including a visit to the vineyards, the castle and the wine cellar.

Terroir Tasting - 6 wines representing the particularities of the Morcote and Mendrisiotto terroirs. Price: 45.- chf per person.

Premium Tasting - 6 wines including our prestigious Castello di Morcote Riserva and Fuoco. Price: 55.- chf per person.
