Taste my Swiss City Lugano – Selfguided food Tour

This city tour is definitely not in any travel guide (yet). It is a chance to decide for yourself – by choosing the local scene expert to suit your individual taste. Discover their favourite restaurants and be inspired by little delicacies in a rather different way.

Stop 1

• Grand Café al Porto, Via Pessina 3, on the pedestrian street that connects Piazza Dante Alighieri with Piazzetta Emilio Maraini (end of Via Nassa) you will find the café near the green grocer shop.

Stop 2

• Bernasconi Gastronomia, Via Nassa 7, walking along Via Nassa right in front of the San Carlo church under the portico you will find the gastrosnack

Stop 3

• Ristorante La Tinera, Via dei Gorini 2, on the narrow alley in front of the Grand Café al Porto a bit hidden you will find the restaurant La Tinera

Stop 4

• Bottegone del vino, Via Magatti 3, from Piazza Riforma looking at the City Hall take the pedestrian street on the left hand side and you will find the restaurant Bottegone del vino on the corner of the next street

Stop 5

• Vanini 1871, Piazza Riforma, on the square Piazza Riforma right across the City Hall you will find the Vanini "dolce e caffé"

This tour is not guided and instead walked and experienced independently according to the detailed instructions provided on booking.

• Reservation required (min 72 hours' advance notice)

• Included: 1 meal and 1 drink at 4 restaurants / Ice cream at the end of the tour

• Please check the opening times of all stops before starting the tour

• Minimum age for drinking alcohol is 18 years

• Duration: 2 to 3 hours

• Monday to Saturday. It is recommended to start at 10:00 a.m. with the first stop

• Activity providers will be aware of your arrival: table seats are not reserved and a solution will be found at the time, but we ask for some flexibility

• The activity providers will do their best to accommodate your every need
